Tarot Card of the Day: King of Swords

King of Swords

Tarot Card of the Day: King of Swords

Most of the day, except for the morning, we will feel aloof, silently accepting the things that happen, the people that try to get under our skin, and we may have a distant attitude, not wanting to be bothered and in our own minds. Deep inside, however, we will crave love and affection but feel the distance in others and assume the worst and “not care”.

Things are not exactly as we see them today, so the emotions that play with us are not as bad as they seem. Most of our thoughts will not be based in reality, as our intuition is very low, so what you think you know, you just might not understand what’s really going on. Take this time to be by yourself, but still answer your phone. Keep away from arguments and confrontations, for they may get heated.

The King of Swords reminds us that it is not a bad thing to feel distant from others, but we also have to be fair. We may not want to hear anyone out because of our “whatever” attitude, but love just may be in the air. Don’t shut it out.

The Lovers, by Victoria Frances

Tarot Card of the Day: The Lovers

With the moon in Taurus and Venus in Gemini, we’ll have a heightened sensuality and a feeling of wanting to be close to someone. This is a time of curiosity and wonder when it comes to romantic relationships.  Now is the time to explore anything that you’ve been curious about, especially when it relates to matters of the heart or sexuality.

The Lovers remind us to allow ourselves to appreciate and be open to love, tenderness, and sensuality.

Tarot Card of the Day: Temperance

Published April 1, 2012 by Mystic Landing

Though you feel some confidence today, a part of you will feel hesitant when it comes to doing things that you know must be handled. Use moderation today in everything you do, whether its simple or not. It’s a day of merging, experimenting and adjusting.

Sometimes in order to take on something, you feel like you have to give up something else but you don’t have to always do that. The Temperance card encourages you to blend all these elements together to create one beautiful whole even if the elements seem incompatible. Sometimes a blending of opposites creates a grand design.

Tarot Card of the Day: Four of Swords

Tarot Card of the Day: Four of Swords

A time of rest and recovery, the Four of Swords encourages us to give ourselves a little bit of time to recuperate from our day to day lives and even from the things that have shattered our world. Some of us just need to rest, but more unfortunate ones have had really devastating occurrences recently that they just need time to heal from. If this is the case, do not ignore your time of recovery and let these wounds heal. If you are more fortunate and just sensitive to the alignment of the planets, then your body will probably be telling you to rest, even if there is no reason to feel tired. Either way, if you can, take this time to rejuvenate. you will need it for later days, but do not dwell in this state for too long because a body in rest stays in rest. We don’t want to shirk our responsibilities for too long.

Tarot Card of the Day: Judgement

Tarot Card of the Day: Judgement

Today is a day of change. Clearing out the clutter, getting rid of the old to invite new things into your life. Some will experience some very difficult decisions today like saying goodbye to people and things that were once so important in their lives. But this is a very important step into the next phase of your life, so you must do what needs to be done. Please, be careful, however of tactlessness and harsh words, because that is no way to release anything into the universe. You must have compassion in letting things go. You must embrace the importance of humility when you have to leave people and things behind to pursue your goals. Step into the portal of truth, clarity and the future and try not to look back into the past without fond memories of what is left behind.

Tarot Card of the Day: Eight of Swords

Tarot Card of the Day: Eight of Swords

With the moon in Libra, today is a day where you just want to let bygones be bygones. If anyone wants to argue, you’ll probably just let them win. Maybe you feel tired and just don’t want to fight or maybe you just want to remain peaceful for your own sanity.

Whatever the case may be, the Eight of Swords reminds us that if we don’t speak our mind and say what we feel when the time comes to defend ourselves, we will feel trapped in our own heads and will become afraid of saying or thinking anything.

Stop second-guessing every thought or word and just say what you feel. Keeping the peace only works when you are wrong. If you feel you are right, then you have to speak up. Maybe it will even lead to more respect from the person you stand up to.
